Rightpath Claims Trigger Fraud Detection Success

Diligent claims management company, Rightpath Claims were pleased to assist in the detection of a fraudulent claim which led to the fraudster’s conviction and sentencing to 16 months imprisonment.

Rightpath’s expert Claims Managers noticed a discrepancy in relation to claims made by the claimant which then triggered a full investigation.

The investigation was successful in connecting the claimant to a number of additional fraudulent claims made to multiple insurers.

According to the ABI, insurance fraud costs the industry more than £1.3 billion each year, causing a rise in overall insurance pricing which directly impacts every policyholder.
